Certified EstablishmentsThe DTI-Certified Establishment (DTI-CE) Program aims to give due recognition to establishments that uphold the rights of the consumers and practice responsible business where consumers indeed get value for money. The program also encourages the setting up of a sustainable Consumer Welfare Desk (CWD) or a DTI-recognized consumer service counter that will provide information to consumers and will serve as mechanism for a speedy resolution of consumer complaints. What is the objective of the DTI-CE Program?It aims to promote and foster the highest level of business ethics and uphold a fair and honest marketplace through voluntary self-regulation and service excellence. Who can apply for certification?All retail establishments, supermarkets, department stores, appliance centers, hardware stores and DTI accredited service and repair shops may apply for certification.
